TLC Companions is looking for YOU!!!

TLC Companions is dedicated to providing local families with dedicated, experienced, and loving companions and nannies. We do our best to custom fit each companion or nanny to each family we serve. We have high standards and are only looking for those candidates that meet the following criteria:

* Must have 2-3 years childcare experience.

* Must be at least 18 years of age.

* Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D

* Must have a valid driver’s license and current car insurance.

* Must be currently CPR/First aid certified be willing to take a certification class.

* Must agree to have a thorough background check conducted on you.

   If you are considering becoming a nanny you must register or already be registered through Trustline.

*  Most important: Have a true LOVE for children.

(We do not charge you a fee for our service. All fees are paid by our clients.)

What is a child care companion?

A child care companion is one who nurtures and comforts, plays and interacts, and gives peace of mind to parents leaving their children in your care.  Companions work on an as needed basis.  Some additional duties can involve: diapering, cooking, feeding, picking or taking children to activities, walking to the park, putting children to bed, and picking up after the children and yourself.

What is a Nanny?

Nannies are used on a more long-term basis. Families interview and choose the nanny that will fit their families needs. Salary is negotiated between the family and the nanny. Duties are similar to those listed above, but are modified to meet a families particular needs.  A nanny contract will be created through TLC Companions on the behalf of the nanny and the family after, terms of employment are agreed upon by both parties.

*Note-All nannies must be registered through Trustline before nanny placement is complete.
